Compassionate Care in a Home Away from Home
Respite Care in West Palm Beach, FL
Caring for a loved one 24/7 is a difficult and often thankless job. While we know you’d do anything in your power to keep your loved one safe, happy, and comfortable at home, we also know the strain that comes with caring for someone around the clock.
This selfless service can easily add extra stress and worry into your life. Not to mention, many at-home caregivers find themselves putting their own lives on hold while caring for a family member.
For you, this might mean forgoing vacations, missing your kids’ school events, or even turning down job opportunities in fear that your loved one won’t be able to care for himself/herself at home without you.
It always inspires us to see the dedication people have for providing their loved ones with the opportunity to live an enriching life at home surrounded by the people they love.
However, you should never feel guilty about needing a break.
In fact, giving yourself the gift of a responsibility-free vacation or simply a long weekend to focus on your kids allows you to relax, destress, and regroup so you can better care for the one you love.
We believe you not only need, but, also deserve, some time off, which is why we offer expert respite care right in our warm, inviting community.
Best of all, our community is open to seniors who need assisted living care OR memory care services.
Bring your loved one for a short-term or long-term respite care stay, and you can get the time off you need while resting assured that your loved one is being cared for by a team of compassionate caregivers.
How Our Respite Care Services Work
Savannah Court of the Palm Beaches day respite care program is structured to give you--a 24/7 caregiver--the support and time for yourself you need so you can be the best possible care provider for the one you love.
Respite care residents are welcome to stay in our community anywhere from 2 days to 90 days without any long-term commitment. The amount of time you select is strictly based on your personal needs.
Once in our community, your family member will be provided a private apartment, which is fully furnished with a cozy bed, dresser, television, and more.
You’re welcome to bring with you any comforts of home your loved one enjoys, such as books or blankets.
All respite care residents also have access to...
- Community activities and events.
- Community outings (non-memory care residents only).
- Daily meals (breakfast, lunch, and/or dinner).
- Community spaces for rest, relaxation, or entertainment.
- Social opportunities.

Whom is Respite Care For?
Respite care is available to adult children who need relief from providing 24/7 care to a senior loved one. This may include, but is not limited to, caregivers that...
- Have other family obligations.
- Need to go away on a business trip.
- Are planning a family vacation.
- Are feeling burned-out with care responsibilities.
- Need a break to become the best providers they can be.
We accept seniors with a variety of assistance needs who cannot safely be left home alone or would benefit from socialization within their age group. This includes memory care options for loved ones who suffer from Alzheimer’s or dementia.
Upon request for respite care, your senior family member will be evaluated to determine the most appropriate services that are needed during his or her stay with us.
This care is determined on a point system. Once a care level is assigned, you loved one will be placed in our community among either our assisted living or memory care residents.
