Dennis L. Wagner serves as Co-Chairman of the Board for Senior Living Management Corp. Mr. Wagner is the founder of Senior Living Management Corporation. He has over 30 years of experience in the senior housing industry. Starting his career in the senior housing industry, Dennis went on to Manor Care as their Assisted Living Product Manager then to Marriott Senior Living Services as their National Director of Catered Living. He served Retirement Management Corporation (RMC) as Vice President utilizing and expanding his Assisted Living management skills throughout the southeastern United States. He was the foundation of the development of the Savannah Court line of communities Senior Living Management Corporation proudly operates today. He served on the board of the Florida Retirement Housing Council for many years as President, is widely known and respected by his associates and the community.
Uri Rubin serves as President and Chief Executive Officer of Senior Living Management Corporation. Mr. Rubin oversees the day-to-day financial management and Information Technology of Senior Living Management Corporation. He has an extensive background in financial management of retirement facilities as well as community-level financial and accounting procedures. Before joining Senior Living Management Corporation, he worked at Ernst & Young in New York City in the Metropolitan Tax Department. Next, he established a management company that supported Senior Housing back office functions. His experiences include assessment analysis and financial feasibility of projects in the development stage, new construction facilities, turn-around of challenged communities and securing capital sources for SLM's acquisition pipeline.
Bart A. Palumbo serves as Chief Operating Officer of Senior Living Management Corporation. Mr. Palumbo has more than 25 years of experience in the senior housing industry,18 of those years with Senior Living Management Corporation. He has earned a reputation for excellence and integrity and is widely respected by his peers. As a hospitality entrepreneur, Mr. Palumbo was introduced to Senior Housing in the late 1980's and went on to serve Marriott Senior Living Services and Classic Residence by Hyatt through the 1990's as a General Manager and Executive Director further developing his experience. He presently serves on the Florida Argentum (ALFA) Advisory Board and has since 2013. In the past years he has served on the Board of Directors of the Florida Assisted Living Association (FALA), he was the Broward County Florida FALA Chapter President from 1994 to 1997 and was awarded Administrator of the year by FALA in 1997.
Greg Knowles serves as Regional Director of Operations for Senior Living Management Corporation. Mr. Knowles has 25 years of experience in the skilled care and senior housing industry. Greg hails from the mid-west he received his Bachelor’s Degree from Eastern Illinois University. Beginning his career in Illinois and moving to Florida in 2003, Mr. Knowles has been an Administrator, Executive Director and Director of Operations; he is a licensed Nursing Home and Assisted Living Administrator. Since 2013 he has served SLM in the capacity of Executive Director for Assisted Living Facilities and Skilled Nursing Facilities and in his current SLM position as Director of Operations he oversees all skilled nursing units in the portfolio. His experience includes superior regulatory and operational outcomes, transitional oversight of multiple communities into existing company portfolios. Greg has a strong reputation of dedicated service to the health care industry. Mr. Knowles has been honored with several awards from various companies during his career and was a member of the initial FHCA Florida Leaders class in 2009.
Tina Ries serves as Regional Director of Operations for Senior Living Management. She began her Senior Housing career at Savannah Court of Bartow as the Resident Relations Coordinator in May of 2003 and has been with the company 15+ years, promoting to Executive Director, Senior Executive Director and to her current role of Regional Director of Operations since 2010. Born in raised in Bartow, Polk County, Florida Ms. Ries is right at home with her region that includes all Polk County SLM communities. Tina’s service and many accomplishments in all roles has been recognized and acknowledged by SLM including Executive Director of the Year. Ms. Ries continues to reside in Polk County, has 3 children, 3 grandchildren, and in her time off enjoys relaxing at home. Her desire is to continue to serve the elderly population in which she loves and continuing her career with SLM.
Tori Gober serves as Regional Director of Operations in Georgia for Senior Living Management Corporation. In this role she provides operational oversight for multiple assisted living, personal care home, independent living and memory support communities. Tori has served in various capacities during her senior housing career including as an Executive Director of Assisted Living over many years and in Senior Housing Sales and Marketing. She is delighted to be part of the SLM Team serving seniors! Tori enjoys shopping, traveling and spending time on the lake with family in her free time.
Maurie Wise serves as Regional Director of Operations. He achieves great personal satisfaction knowing that assisted living improves the quality of life of our residents and family members. His mother having been an Alzheimer's Disease patient gives Maurie a unique understanding and compassion for his assisted living residents. Maurie holds a BS degree from LSU-Shreveport as well as a Certificate in Executive Director Leadership from Louisiana Assisted Living Association. Having been in the business world forty years, Maurie brings a wealth of knowledge and experience from hands-on entry level to executive management and ownership. Working with multiple franchise entities he is accustomed to set standards of policies and procedures with unannounced inspections, such as dealing with the State of Louisiana. Abilities include multi-unit property management in retail and residential, budgeting, profit and losses control, HR, advertising, marketing, mergers and acquisitions and maintenance and repair. He is most proud of the successes he has played a part in by mentoring and training of associates and managers along the way. Living in a 116 yr old house in the historic district of his hometown, Minden, Louisiana, Maurie is a single father of three beautiful daughters and three handsome grandsons
Joey Keen serves as RegionalDirector of Operations for Senior Living Management Corporation providing operational oversight for multiple assisted living and memory support communities. Joey received her Bachelor of Business Administration from Madison University. She has thirty-six years of experience in the long term care and senior housing industry. Joey has served in various capacities during her senior housing career this including nursing home administrator in the State of Georgia, Regional Director of Operations and Executive Director of Assisted Living over many years in Florida. Early on in her career she served as a business office manager and a certified nursing assistant. Serving in these diverse capacities has allowed Joey a broad knowledge base in the senior housing industry. Joey enjoys golfing and gardening in her free time. She currently resides with her husband Jimmy and their dog Precious.
Colleen Guay serves as National Sales & Marketing Director for Senior Living Management Corporation. In this role she provides oversight for sales and marketing initiatives to all the assisted living, memory support and personal care homes SLM owns and operates. Colleen has enjoyed extensive and successful sales and marketing career in the senior living industry for over 15 years. Her passion to serve the senior population has been a driving force in her career. She excels at deep-dive analysis to quickly identify the underlying reasons leading to deficiencies in productivity, sales and revenue. Beyond the identification of any such issue, she is then adept at promptly implementing best procedures and practices to ensure ongoing stabilization for a solid future. Colleen is dedicated to the development and success of each member of her team. In today’s highly competitive senior living industry she brings the ability and desire to develop and manage an aggressive sales force to meet and exceed revenue and occupancy goals. All of these talents along with her dynamic energy and leadership skills is an added complement to the executive team at Senior Living Management Corporation.
