Hibiscus Court Stays the Course through Hurricane Irma

Thoughts and Prayers for Those Impacted by Irma

We at Senior Living Management wish to extend our thoughts and prayers to the victims of Hurricane Irma. Our communities have been lucky to fair well through storm, and look to the future with high hopes. We know that the Florida spirit of perseverance and community is strong and will stay strong through this time of struggle, grief, hope, and rebuilding.

High Spirits Prevail through Community Connection

With the wind and rain came the opportunity for residents to come together and keep one another in high spirits while weathering the storm. One such event is Tacky Tourist Friday, in which residents and SLM team members dress in their funniest costumes for a playful gest at some of the silly things that out-of-towners sometimes bring into the lovely Melbourne area.

Another resident favorite is a game we call Noodle Ball, where residents use pool noodles to pass a beach ball around the circle. It’s a little like badminton, except everyone is on the same team at Hibiscus Court. Visit our Facebook page to watch a video of our residents enjoying the silliness and smiles that always come with a breakout session of our favorite indoor game.
